THE HOPE PROGRAM
Delivering Diversity - Enhancing Equality
An accessible, interactive and inclusive program which is suitable for both staff and students within any educational environment.
The HOPE Program offers opportunities for staff and students to explore and celebrate their own uniqueness and is invaluable in that it can create a forum for the development of real and measurable cultural enhancement in terms of recruitment, retention, achievement and progression.
This program uses, as a starting point, the Equality Act 2010, and ensures that all members of your community gain knowledge and understanding of the importance of creating a safe and respectful space for everyone within your community.
The aims of this program are to:
- Encourage a sense of community amongst the student body
- Cover key concepts in a fast-paced, fun and interactive way
- Ensure a standardised delivery of diversity education.
- Offer strategies for embedding E & D into lesson planning
There is great potential for flexible delivery through interactive arts activities and, although suitable for all age groups, the program will be tailored to suit specific learners.
