There are many ways to bend and kiss the ground and there are many ways to stand up,
speak out and give others HOPE.
WHAT IS THE GIVE 'EM HOPE CAMPAIGN?
Stage One - The Give 'em Hope Campaign is an inclusive and inspirational celebration of diversity; an online video initiative to encourage and uplift those who feel marginalised, isolated or limited by labels. We exist to bring hope to those who need it most and do so by sharing our stories.
The campaign was founded by David E Watters in early 2011 and has grown, with the support of numerous international cheerleaders and proactive participants.
Below you will find a selection of videos from our various contributors. These will be changed regularly, so please keep checking back for more.
All of our videos can be found on our youtube channel.

Stage Two - has included written stories of HOPE from those who have freed themselves from limiting labels and who can now celebrate their individuality.
Here are just some of these incredibly candid, moving and inspiring stories:
Stage Three - is the living family support network which flourishes on facebook. Both the group and sister page are staffed by an international team of compassionate administrators, of diverse backgrounds, who provide unrivalled support and guidance.
The best thing about the group, for me, is the diverse range of loving, altruistic people who go there on a daily basis to offer their support and to share genuine friendship. I love the videos that you share and the poetry, prose and news stories.
What makes us different and valuable, to those who seek hope and encouragement, is that we maintain a great sense of positivity.
My catch phrase in work and life generally is, "There is always a solution" and I truly believe that. None of us have had it easy, we all have faced our own challenges but together we bring the lessons that we've learned and share these with others who may be facing similar problems...you will get there and, with our love, you will get there faster!
Respect, David E Watters

COLTON FORD IS A KEY VOICE IN MY BOOK, NEVER BLEND IN, IN WHICH HE SAYS:
You are entitled to be the person you are. Your sexual orientation is a part of that entitlement. It doesn't make you good or bad, it just is a part of who you are. Try to embrace it and forgive those that cannot. Live your life fully, take good care of yourself, and in the process the people around you will be able to see the authenticity of you.
I think more and more people are getting frustrated with what we are doing to ourselves, and are becoming more aware of the hypocrisy of it all.
THE FULL, FRANK AND FASCINATING INTERVIEW WILL APPEAR IN NEVER BLEND IN LATER THIS YEAR.
AL PILLAY
Al Pillay is an international star of every idiom, whose electrifying and captivating career has spanned theatre, film, cabaret, television, radio and the recording industry.
A sincere, caring, and genuinely giving cheerleader for the marginalised and someone who has survived great personal challenges (including racism, transphobia and homophobia) but who remains empathetic, encouraging and supportive of any and all who feel isolated, victimised and disenfranchised.
"Behind the limp wrist is an iron fist", Al explains.
I first met Al in 2010, when researching my book NEVER BLEND IN, and we have since grown to become great friends. Al has been incredibly supportive of my equality advocacy work and it is wonderful to add this edited interview to the Give 'em Hope Campaign. This is a candid insight into the real Al Pillay -- more videos to come soon.
